E-Ride Pro - SS 3.0 / SR - OEM Front Brake Assembly

This is the Type 2 front brake cylinder pump assembly for the E Ride Pro SS3.0 and SR, the updated DOT4 hydraulic setup that replaced the earlier Type 1 system on these platforms. It ships complete with mounting hardware, so there's no separate bolt kit to track down to get it installed. Since front brake feel and stopping power live or die by the master cylinder and pump working correctly, a worn or leaking unit here usually shows up as a soft lever or reduced bite long before the caliper or pads are actually the problem. This is the standard-fork version of the Type 2 brake, built for bikes running the regular SS3.0/SR fork rather than the stiffer 775mm FastAce fork found on the SR 775 Special Edition, which uses its own Rev B version of this same part instead. One important call-out for install, DOT4 and mineral-oil brake systems are not interchangeable, so this only pairs with bikes already running DOT4 fluid on the Type 2 system. This is the front brake to reach for when the lever feel has gone soft or spongy and a bleed alone hasn't fixed it.
