The Light Bee didn't just join the e-moto world, it created it. The Light Bee 2 is what happens when Sur-Ron takes that blueprint and rebuilds it from the ground up. Same featherweight feel at roughly 65 kg and an accessible 830 mm seat. Everything underneath is new. It starts with a breakthrough: a true semi-solid-state battery developed with QingTao Energy, packing 3.53 kWh into just 14.9 kg at 320 Wh/kg per cell. That's a gel-electrolyte pack that runs cooler, resists thermal runaway, and pushes real-world range past 160 km, all while feeding up to 24 kW of peak power and almost 60 mph top end through the new Evo 2 motor. The Bee Matrix controller turns that power into seven ride modes, from Crawl to Turbo, plus a fully custom "M" mode that lets you dial output, torque, and speed exactly where you want them. Then there's the part you feel before you read the spec sheet. A forged-aluminum double-cradle frame, 50% stronger, with the welds engineered out. Kashima-coated 38 mm forks with 215 mm of dual-chamber travel. Four-piston calipers biting 220 mm rotors that refuse to fade. And a brain to match: SWC (Sur-Ron Wheelie Control) with beginner and advanced modes, a linear RBS regen trigger that doubles as a backup throttle, and three-stage traction control. This isn't the next version of the Light Bee. It's the reason there was ever a first one.

S-VIN vs Y-VIN
One bike, two versions. Know which you're buying.
Not all Sur-Rons are the same. Every Sur-Ron sold in the U.S. is one of two versions. They may look identical and share nearly the same specs, but one is an authorized U.S. bike while the other is a grey-market import that can't use the official Sur-Ron app, doesn't include an MCO for titling and registration, and isn't backed by the U.S. warranty.
The difference is surprisingly easy to spot: the 4th character of the VIN. We call it the S-VIN vs. Y-VIN distinction. S = Authorized U.S. Y = Grey Market.

To me, the Light Bee 2 looks like the perfect blend of everything that made the Light Bee and the Ultra Bee great. Paired with a direct-drive gearbox and the new semi-solid-state battery, it'll undoubtedly deliver the best range and throttle performance in the entire Sur-Ron lineup. I can hardly believe they pulled it off at under 150 lbs, especially when you factor in that massive 78V 45Ah battery and a huge 24kW of peak power! This is exactly what the market's been waiting for, having tested the bike, I can confidently agree with all the reviews we've been seeing ... this is the BIKE OF THE YEAR!

Best birthday gift ever!

Being one of the first to get the Light Bee 2 was worth the wait!
I've been following the Light Bee 2 since it was announced, so I knew I wanted one as soon as they became available. I got into the first batch and was one of the first people to actually receive one. The 24kW power is crazy for a bike this size. It's lightweight, quick, and so much fun to ride on the trails. Creature Racing also made the whole process easy. They kept me updated while we waited for the first batch to arrive and got my bike shipped out quickly once they were in. After riding it, I can confidently say it was worth the wait. Absolutely love this bike!

Love it!

Nothing on the market like this bike
The Light Bee 2 is easily the most exciting one I've ridden. It has that lightweight Surron feel but with a serious jump in performance. If you like smaller bikes that you can really play around on, this thing is a lot of fun.
